Cadore began with a simple search for something special. One holiday season, we were looking for a gift box that felt personal and beautiful, something that spoke of thoughtfulness and care. What we found instead were hampers filled with paper, predictable items, and very little soul. Nothing felt like the kind of gift we’d be proud to give.

That quiet disappointment became the seed of Cadore. Founded by women and proudly based in Ottawa, Cadore was created to bring meaning and refinement back to gifting. We wanted to craft an experience that felt rich, intentional, and full of warmth.

Every Cadore box is thoughtfully curated with unique, hard-to-find pieces from exceptional makers around the world. We look for items that aren’t easily found in stores, pieces that hold beauty, purpose, and quiet luxury. Each one is chosen for how it looks, feels, and connects to the story we want every gift to tell.

We don’t believe in fillers or excess. What we offer is gifts that feel generous, elegant, and complete. From the texture of the wrapping to the balance of colors and scents inside each box, every detail is considered with care.

Why pre-order?

Pre-ordering ensures that every Cadore box is prepared with the utmost care. We curate each box in limited quantities to maintain quality, balance, and beauty - guaranteeing your gift is ready right on time for the holidays.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver within Ottawa and surrounding areas. If you’re just outside this region, send us a note, we may be able to arrange a custom delivery or pickup option.

Can I order now for someone else in Ottawa?

Absolutely. Simply include their delivery address at checkout and a personalized note if you’d like us to include one.

When will my order be delivered?

All Cadore boxes are currently available for pre-order only. Holiday deliveries will take place between December 13–23 across Ottawa. You’ll receive an email confirmation with your specific delivery date once routes are finalized.

Can I choose my delivery date?

You can include your preferred delivery date under delivery instructions at checkout. While we can’t guarantee exact dates, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request within the December 13–23 window.

Will the items in my box look exactly like the photos?

We do our best to match each box exactly as shown. Occasionally, if an item becomes unavailable, we’ll replace it with something of equal or greater value that fits the same aesthetic and quality.

Can I include a personalized note?

Yes — you can add a message to the special instructions at checkout, and we’ll include a hand-written note inside your box at no extra cost.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because our boxes contain curated food and gift items, we can’t accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged. If that happens, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we’ll make it right.

Do you accept custom requests or special orders?

We love bringing thoughtful ideas to life. While our current boxes are pre-curated, we occasionally accommodate special requests for specific themes, occasions, or bulk gifting. Please email us at hello@cadore.ca with your vision, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
